Young, Deaf and CF is a documentary I directed and shot.

"If you were given an extra chance at life, would you take it? 25 year old Cystic Fibrosis sufferer Pete Franklin has been offered a double lung transplant, his only possibility of leading a longer life. Seems an easy decision, right? But throw into the equation that Pete is deaf due to an NHS blunder and finding this much harder to deal with than the CF. This film follows Pete as he makes the hardest decision of his life. This film tells the story of courage, determination and positivity."

The film was selected for the Berlin British Shorts Festival and will be shown at the Barbican in February 2011.
